Last-eight defeat for Royton
ROYTON crashed out of the Inter-League Challenge Trophy when beaten by eight
wickets at Haslingden in the quarter-final.
Going into the tie as the only local side remaining in the competition, Royton
hit 170 for six from their 45 overs, Dion Taljard scoring an unbeaten 75.
Haslingden replied with 172 for two, Lewis Mackintosh scoring 71 and Graham
Knowles 51.
