Pictures from the day
Hollinwood took their time getting onto the field
So openers Ward and Harding had a word with the officials
Harding managed to squeeze this one to fine leg
Ward's dismissal without a picture being taken brought new pro Neil Broom to the
crease
Harding kept this one out, but was soon dismissed.
Overseas amateur Percy returned to Royton and was up next, he soon got off the
mark with a flick off the legs.
The pro looked very solid
Percy decided to leave this one
The sunshine even brought new second team captain Neal Cook to The Paddock
After Percy's wicket. Skipper Lee Gibbons made it to the middle
Pro Neil Broom hit some great shots after a steady start, this one an early
boundary
He dispatched the ball to all parts of the ground
for 4's and big 6's
Gibbons hit a quick fire 50, sending the Hollinwood fielders to retrun the ball
from every part of the ground
Broom hit some big sixes
Gibbons wicket brought Simon Webb to the crease, this shot nearly ending up in
mid wickets hands.
Broom carried on the run scoring and nearly had a first ton of the season
Webb looked solid later on
