Broom hits a mighty six
Woodward keeps working those cheeks
Woody asks for some advice from a real professional, "As a former pro, surely I
should be hitting the ball higher up the bat than this", Broom looks straight
past him wondering how Woody ever got the job. Fernando goes off to start
a collection for a new bat for Woody, and Davey wonders what he has in his hands

Even the local chav turned up on Saturday to watch the First team
Later in his innings, Woodward stopped working those cheeks and concentrated on
his guitar strumming whilst camply running between the wickets. Davey
wasn't impressed, Punchard thought he could do better

More misery for Royton
ROYTON suffered a nine-wicket home defeat at the hands of Middleton in one of
only three matches in the Lake Garage CLL to beat the rain on Saturday.
In a match restricted to 25 overs per side, Royton reached 129 for four,
professional Neil Broom scoring 56 and Mark Woodward 30 not out.
It was a target easily achieved by Middleton, who made 130 for one, Steven Davey
