The match started with a minutes silence for the death of Royton life member Jack Punchard.

Marais took the first Ashton wicket

which was soon followed by the second, bowled Proctor.

Anwar tempts the batsmen

Proctor played some fine strokes on his way to his first 50 for Royton

and was solid in defence

and proctor plays through backward point for more runs

Anwar flicks off his legs for a boundary in the approach to his second consecutive 100 for Royton

and salutes his 100

Gibbons replaced Proctor, who was then replaced by Dickinson, but was bowled leg stump trying to push the run rate along

Marais replaces his cap after taking guard

Anwar acknowledges the crowd after reaching 150

and takes the applause when the game i won

The crowd celebrate a great win in a game where over 500 runs were scored.  Anwar finished on 160 not out from 142 balls, (18 fours and 4 sixes)
