Spirits in the Royton camp were high for yesterday's visit of Monton and
Weaste, but they were soon on the back foot when the visitors took first guard.
Professional Craig Simpson hit 90 and overseas amateur Nick Kruger 72 as Monton
piled up 265 for six, Procter taking three for 65.
Once Procter had gone for 38 and Anwar for 57, Royton were up against it in
reply and were finally bowled out for 181.
Simpson completed a fine all-round performance with a five for 65 haul.
