The club has approximately thirty playing members of which twenty are team players with the remainder being social playing members. New players are always welcome at Royton and anyone interested can contact either Stewart or Gill for further details.
Royton has two teams that play in the Oldham League. The “A” team is currently playing in the 2nd division, and the “B” team currently in the 4th Division. We also have a ladies team in the Manchester League 1st division.

“B” TEAM - HOME MATCH NIGHTS - MONDAYS
M/CR LEAGUE : LADIES TEAM – HOME MATCH NIGHT-THURSDAY
There is a thriving junior section with two teams participating in the Manchester Junior league, U-17s and U-14s. The junior sessions are organised by Gill Smith and are supervised jointly by Gill and various other volunteer senior members. They are held every Wednesday evening starting at 6.30 pm and usually finishing about 8.30pm. Any parent who would like their children to have a go with us should contact Gill or Stewart initially.
The courts are available all year round to members, and a key for the net store can be obtained from Stewart for a small charge to cover cost of cutting.
It is anticipated that we will have a replacement pavilion in the not too distant future, which will replace the former pavilion that was recently demolished. This part of an ongoing general improvement program being undertaken by the section to enhance our playing facilities for all members.
